Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Domaine (“Domaine,” “we,” “us”), a property-management platform, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. Domaine is used by property managers and landlords to run their properties; when you interact with Domaine as a tenant, we handle your information both on our own behalf and on behalf of your property manager.

1. Information we collect

Information you or your property manager provide: name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address, and tenancy details such as your unit, lease, rent balance, maintenance requests, and documents.

Payment information: if you pay rent online, payment details are collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not store full bank or card numbers ourselves.

Information collected automatically: basic usage and device data (such as log and diagnostic information) needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the platform — for example to manage your tenancy, process rent payments, handle maintenance requests, send you tenancy notices, provide support, secure the service, and comply with our legal obligations.

3. Text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number to send tenancy-related notices as described in our SMS Terms & Conditions. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

4. How we share information

We share your information only as needed to run the service: with your property manager; with service providers that operate the platform on our behalf (such as our payment processor, SMS and email providers, and cloud hosting and storage providers), under agreements that limit their use of your information to providing those services; and where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service, and afterward as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations or to resolve disputes.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and you can contact us to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Some of your tenancy information is controlled by your property manager, so we may direct certain requests to them.

8. Children's privacy

Domaine is not directed to children and is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
